Necessary nutrients, in the right ratio, are important not only to lose weight but to stay healthy while you lose the weight. These fat burning foods will help to do that.
1. Lean Proteins: Lean proteins are found in lean cuts of meat, skinless turkey and chicken breasts as well as fish (especially salmon and tuna). Fish does contain omega-3 oils which are very good for your health.
2. Low Fat Cottage Cheese: This ranks high on the list because low fat cottage cheese contains Casein and healthy milk protein which is important because Casein is slowly absorbed into the blood stream and reduces the chance of an insulin spike. Skim milk contains Casein as well and is virtually fat free.
3. Egg Whites: Egg whites are considered a healthy source of protein and are nearly fat free. You can seperate the whites from the yolk yourself at home, or you can buy them at the grocery store. You can have egg white omelots, or you can fry, poach or even bake them.
4: Vegtables: Broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, lettuce, and celery are fibrous vegtables. They are high in vegtable fiber, other nutrients and important vitamins. Other vegtables that you should include in your daily diet are peas, corn, cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers. These are high in fiber,vitamins, minerals and antioxidents and should definitely be a part of your fat lose program.
5. Oatmeal: Oatmeal is made of of complex carbohydrates and is a very good source of fiber, and will not cause a spike in insulin.
6. Whole Fruits: Fruits that are high in in fiber and low in fruit sugar are actually very healthy. However, some fruits are high on the glycemic index and can cause an insulin spike. You should eat fruits that are ranked low the glycemic index and are rich in fiber.
7. Whey Protein: The majority of protein obtained from whey can be used by the body, so it would have to be considered the best source of the highest biological value protein. It is available in powder form.
